Western Drama and Dinner This Wednesday

The award winning Western HS Drama Department presents 


Once on This Island

Wednesday October 28, 
Thursday October 29
 and Friday, October 30 at 7:00 PM
 
Tickets for adults are $10.00   (students & seniors - $7.00)
 
Once On This Island is a classic drama of life, pain, love, grief, and faith wherein the Gods of Earth, Water, Love and Death
toy with mortals in their quest to prove which is stronger:
love or death.
 
We dare you to attend!
 
Wednesday, October 30th
Before or after the play, go to Beef O'Brady's for  Western night to benefit the Harvest Drive
 
and attend Once on This Island
playing on Thursday and Friday nights too.

  Parent Volunteer Opportunities

 
Media Center is looking for volunteers who can help throughout the year.
 
Student and Stafff ID Tags will need volunteers next week who can help. Will be trained.
 
Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies needs volunteers to help bake and sell cookies on Wednesdays from 1pm - 2:45 .

Scholarships given in honor of Sandy Williams

Two scholarships were awarded to Western seniors for their academic and community accomplishments at Western High School. The scholarship winners are Kevin Smith who will be attending Florida State University and Casey Gunnel who will attend Florida Gulf Coast University.  Dr. Dierdre Wilson along with PTSA collected donations for the scholarships honoring Sandy Williams, a former BRACE advisor at Western High.

This was the first year of awarding the Sandy Willams Scholarship and plan to award this scholarship annually at Western.

Western's Corner Bookstore

The Corner Bookstore is open

SAT and ACT Princeton Review will be in any day!!

In addition to bookorders, we are selling school supplies

including DVD's, calculators, binder, poster board etc...

Book Orders: We are taking internet orders that can be picked up and paid for at the bookstore during our normal hours. Please direct any specific questions about the book requirements for your class to your teacher. Click Bookstore Orders  on the Bookstore page to start ordering.

Book orders generally take 3-5 business days to arrive.

We are located second floor across from the media center
